Homemade Peanut Butter Fudge

Homemade Peanut Butter Fudge

Homemade Peanut Butter Fudge
  • ⅔ cup of milk
  • 4 Tbsp of butter
  • 4 cups of white sugar
  • 1 cup of peanut butter
  1. Mix milk, sugar, and butter in a large saucepan. Cook to a soft ball stage*.
  2. Remove from heat, and add peanut butter. Beat well until smooth.
  3. Pour into a greased pan and chill. Cut into squares when cool and firm.
*“Soft ball stage” means that you should cook the mixture over medium heat until the temperature reaches 240F degrees on a candy thermometer. A small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms a ball, but is soft enough to flatten slightly when picked up with fingers. Do not over cook soft ball stage or you will have hard fudge.
