Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
-
Beat eggs. Add enough flour to make a very stiff dough.
-
Turn onto flour until dry enough to roll in a thin rectangle. Let it set and dry for 1 hour.
-
Cut into noodles size. Shake to separate and spread out to dry for several hours. Can be stored in clean jars when completely dry. When ready to use, drop into boiling water or chicken broth or beef broth. Cook until tender.
I was trying to look at the recipe for these noodles but the page is a little mixed up! It is showing the directions in point form where the ingredients are supposed to be as well as being in the directions area. In other words, no ingredients are listing! Just thought you’d want to know 🙂
@Cathy D
Thank you! I corrected the mistake.
How long do these keep for? Once they are completely dry that is.
@Crystal
In a cool, dark place they can last up to 3-4 months in the colder seasons, packaged into air tight containers. In the summer they can last for up to 6 weeks.
can these be frozen? if so for how long. i cant wait to try them i love noodles
If you dry noodles completely, they do not need to be frozen. You can keep them in a closed container in your pantry.
