There are many copycat recipes for restaurant dishes that we can, more or less successfully, recreate at home. Some cannot be fully copied because there is always some secret ingredient missing. In Red Lobster, they are using their own butter-garlic sauce that we do not have access to. Other than that, the recipe for their famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits is very easy to replicate. We can make our own version of flaky biscuits in less then 5 minutes using Homemade Bisquick Mix (or store-bought kind), sharp cheddar cheese and a few seasonings. After baking biscuits for 15 minutes in the oven, you can satisfy your craving for these buttery, garlicky, cheesy delights.
- 2 cups Homemade Bisquick Mix
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp Italian seasonings
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
