I can never get enough of oatmeal for breakfast. Whether raw, cooked or baked, it never disappoints.
When you add cocoa, sliced banana and chocolate chips, you can even eat it for dessert as its’ taste resembles brownie batter.
Breakfast in a jar becomes more and more popular because it is so simple to make the evening before. Next morning it is ready to just grab and go.

Chocolate Overnight Oats
Chocolate Overnight Oats – with banana and chocolate chips; healthy, raw and super easy to make; my new favorite morning treat!

Ingredients
- 1/3 c rolled oats
- 1/2 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 Tbsp ground hazelnuts
- 1/4 vanilla extract
- sweetener to taste
- OPTIONAL:
- 1/2 banana sliced
- 2 tsp chocolate chips
Instructions

Put rolled oats, cocoa powder, milk, chia seeds, ground hazelnuts, vanilla extract and sweetener into a glass jar. Stir with a spoon or close with a lid and shake until ingredients are combined. Store in the fridge until next morning.

Top with banana slices and chocolate chips before serving.
