Protein Waffles – easy way to increase protein intake which will support your fitness goals and help you lose weight.
Protein Waffles are an excellent healthy breakfast as well as a great post-workout snack that whole family can enjoy. They are easy way to increase protein intake which will support your fitness goals and help you lose weight.
Favorite waffles went through a healthy makeover with high protein ingredients like eggs, Greek yogurt and protein powder. I used pea protein powder, but it can be replaced with any other protein powder.
High Protein Waffles are truly indulgent food that is good for you!
Another great (no bake) high protein snack that I make are Sweet Potato Oat Balls:


- 2 cups oat flour
- 1 Tbsp protein powder
- 1 2/3 Tbsp baking powder
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- pinch of salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- a dash of cinnamon optional

In a bowl, combine oat flour with protein powder, baking powder, sugar and salt.

In another bowl, mix eggs with yogurt and vanilla extract.

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir just until incorporated (do not overmix).

Cook waffles in a greased waffle maker according to manufacturer's instructions.

Serve with agave syrup, maple syrup, date syrup or honey.
