Vanilla Chia Pudding – basic pudding which can be eaten as is, or enriched with different add-ons.
I’ve made a number of chia puddings already. Maybe you remember my Coconut Chia Pudding and my Chocolate Cherry Chia Pudding.

To make Vanilla Chia Pudding, you just need some chia seeds which are becoming so popular that you can find them in almost every grocery shop and health food store. You can use dairy or non-dairy milk (like coconut or almond milk) and sweeten the pudding with your favorite sweetener like agave syrup or honey or maple syrup. What makes the difference is vanilla flavor and the best kind is natural one, either in the form of vanilla extract or vanilla powder. You can also scrape the inside of the vanilla bean.
Serve Vanilla Chia Pudding as a breakfast treat or a healthy dessert, each way it’s delicious!

- 1 cup milk of choice
- 4 Tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tsp agave syrup (or honey or maple syrup)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla powder or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
Mix chia seeds with milk, sweetener and vanilla.
-
Let stand until chia seeds swell and form gel like consistency.
Yummy 🙂
