Spicy and boozy Spiked Apple Cider will fill your kitchen with the scents of the season and warm you up on a cold winter’s night.
- 1 quart (950 ml) apple cider
- 1 1/2 cup (350ml) dark rum
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 6 whole allspice
- 10 cloves, whole
- 1 orange, sliced
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower heat, and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
*You can keep it on the stove, heating it up from time to time.
