Spring Rainbow Smoothie – spring beauty and health in a liquid form.
Pastel colors are always associated with spring. When I look from my apartment window, I can see my neighbors garden full of spring flowers. It looks so nice and tender and cheerful at the same time. So I created a smoothie to translate this beauty into a liquid form. Spring Rainbow Smoothie is easy to make and attractive way to take all nutrients and vitamins to start your day.
- 1/4 cup oat flakes
- 1 banana
- 1 cup water or juice or more
- juice of 1 orange
- 1 kiwi
- 1/4 avocado
- 1/2 mango
- 1/2 cup red berries
- sweeten to taste
- ice cubes (optional)
Blend oat flakes with banana, water (or a clear fruit juice like, apple juice), orange juice and cinnamon. You can add some sweetener and ice cubes at this point. Divide the mixture in three equal parts.
Add kiwi and avocado to the first part and blend until smooth. Pour into a serving glass.
Combine mango with the second part, blend and pour into the glass over kiwi mixture.
Blend red berries with the third part and pour on top of mango mixture. Serve immediately.
