If you love strawberries and bananas, combine them together in this delicious smoothie. All you need is five minutes to make a silky smoothie which is perfect for a quick fat-free breakfast or healthy afternoon snack. This recipe could not be simpler.
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) frozen strawberries
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup (250 ml) milk* dairy or non-dairy
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) ice cubes
- sweetener to taste
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Put washed strawberries and peeled bananas in blender (you can use hand-held immersion blender as well), together with other ingredients. Blend until smooth and frothy.
Use more or less milk. Less milk will make a thicker smoothie, more milk will make it thinner.
