Garlic Butter Spaghetti and Chicken - garlic crusted juicy chicken breast with pasta in butter sauce - easy meal in no time.
- FOR CHICKEN:
- 1/2 boneless skinless chicken breast
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp oil sunflower or canola
- 2 tsp garlic minced
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- salt black pepper, to taste
- red pepper flakes optional
- FOR SPAGHETTI:
- 1/3 lb spaghetti
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 2 tsp garlic minced
- salt pepper to taste
- grated Parmesan cheese
Season chicken breast with salt, black pepper and red pepper flakes. Place in well oiled porcelain or pyrex baking dish.
In a small pan, heat butter and oil, add garlic and cook for just a few seconds. Do not allow garlic to brow or it will taste bitter.
Add brown sugar and mix.
Cover chicken breast with this mixture. Bake at about 175 C (350 F) for about 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
In the meantime cook spaghetti in salted water and drain.
In a pan, melt butter, add garlic and cook for a few seconds. Season with salt and pepper. Add spaghetti and toss well to combine.
Serve Garlic Butter Spaghetti and Chicken with grated Parmesan cheese. Garnish with chopped parsley (optional).
Good Morning to you, I love spaghetti, it makes for a lovely meal, as so many different flavours can be added. This chicken dish sounds like a really enjoyable supper. I like how you have added brown sugar to the chicken to give that lovely topping. We are a family who really enjoy eating garlic, so I will certainly be trying this recipe.
Thank you for another lovely recipe.

Sounds simple, but good. Sometimes the simplest things are the best. Love the plated pic with the pasta and the wine.
What temperature should the oven be set at?
Around 175 C (350 F).
Maybe you could update the recipe with the temperature? Thanks! Looks good!
