Ingredients
- 2 chicken breast halves, cubed
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 cup sliced onion
- 3/4 cups walnuts, ground
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 pomegranate, seeded
- 2 Tbsp cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp cup sugar, or to taste
- salt, ground black pepper
Instructions

In a pan, heat oil and brown chicken cubes. Remove from pan.

Add onions, walnuts and turmeric onions to the same pan and cook until light brown.

Add chicken broth, bring to boil, simmer on low for 10 minutes or until onion becomes soft. Add chicken and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Add pomegranate, lemon juice and sugar and cook for 5 more minutes.

Season with salt and black pepper. Serve with rice.
