Do you think it would be okay to use the boxed Stovetop? It’s all I have.
Yes, it would be OK. Homemade Stovetop is a substitute for boxed Stovetop. It is used when you don’t have the store-bought one at home, or you simply don’t want to use it.
Who would have ever thought! In my life, as experimental as I thought I was in the kitchen, I never thought to add leftover stuffing to my meatloaf. Now I need to make this because it sounds so good! Once again, thank you for a marvelous idea! Gerry
Thanks, Gerry! I try… 🙂
The meatloaf recipe sounds incredibly delicious with Stovetop Stuffing, so I will definitely try it. How much stuffing mix would you add into the meat mixture when making a 2 lb. meatloaf? The recipe didn’t specify the amount per lb.
You add one batch of Homemade Stovetop Stuffing or about 7 cups of store-bought stuffing.
