A tasty, thick and creamy avocado dip is a success at any party. Healthy and very easy to make, it is delicious served with tortilla chips or vegetable dippers.
- 1 avocado
- 1/3 cup cream cheese or Greek yogurt
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
- a splash or tabasco or jalapeno sauce
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
Place the avocado, cream cheese, mayonnaise, lime juice and tabasco into a blender. Blend until you have a smooth paste, about 1 minute. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste.
Serve as a dip for tortilla chips or cut up veggies.
