Black beans are full of proteins and fiber and also low in carbohydrates. That makes them a great dish for diabatics and everybody else on a low-carb diet.
Bean dip is suitable for vegans and vegetarians alike. It consists of cooked black beans, ketchup, garlic, olive oil, lemon or lime juice, ground cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper and salt. You can make it more or less spicy, according to your taste.
Black Bean Dip takes just a minute to make: put all ingredients in a blender and mix – that’s it! You are ready to serve this Mexican-style crowd-pleasing bean dip to your family and friends.
- 1 1/2 cups cooked black beans drained
- 1 Tbsp ketchup
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp lemon or lime juice
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper or to taste
- black pepper to taste

Put all ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth. Adjust seasonings to taste.
