Easy Beer Bread

Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour sifted
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup beer room temperature
  • 4 Tbsp melted butter or oil
Instructions
  1. Combine sifted all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  2. Add beer and 3 tablespoons of melted butter. Mix briefly until ingredients come together. Do not overmix.
  3. Transfer to oiled and floured loaf pan and drizzle with remaining 1 tablespoon butter.
  4. Bake for 45-50 minutes in 375 F (175 C) oven (or 35 minutes in fan oven).
  5. Cool to room temperature before cutting.
