Crazy Dough Pretzels
Crazy Dough Pretzels - easy homemade pretzels, golden brown, crisp thin crust and chewy interior. Just like from bakery!

  • 1/2 batch Crazy Dough*
  • 1 qt (4 cups; 1 liter) boiling water
  • 6 tsp baking soda
  • 4 tsp salt
  • coarse grain salt or flaky salt for decoration
  1. On a floured surface, divide Crazy Dough to 8 or 10 pices (for 8 large pretzels or 10 smaller ones). Roll each piece into 12-14" long rope and twist to the pretzel shape.
  2. Boil 1 quart water with baking soda and 4 tsp salt. Using a slotted spoon, dip one by one pretzel into water for about 30-60 seconds.
  3. Place pretzels on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Sprinkle with coarse salt.

  4. Bake at 400 F (205 C) for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
