Homemade Applesauce

  • 500 g (1 lb) apples cored and quartered
  • 30 g (1 oz) sugar
  • optional: 40 g (1.5 oz) butter cinnamon, nutmeg,
  1. Place the apples in a pot and add about 1/2 inch of water to the bottom of the pot. Cover and cook on medium heat until soft. If the water evaporates, add a few tablespoons more.
  2. Mash and pureƩ them together with other ingredients and mix on low heat until you get smooth sauce.
  3. Serve with pork roast.
