Copycat Red Lobster Biscuits

Ingredients
  • 2 cups Homemade Bisquick Mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasonings
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • FOR BRUSHING:
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasonings
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450 F (230 C).
  2. Mix Homemade Bisquick (or store-bought), milk, cheddar cheese, sugar, Italian seasonings and garlic powder until a soft dough forms. If the dough is too dry, you may add 1-2 Tbsp more milk. Do not over knead the dough!
  3. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet or into 10-12 paper-lined muffin tins.
  4. Bake about 15 min. or until golden brown.
  5. Combine butter, garlic powder and Italian seasonings and brush over biscuits. Serve immediately.
