Elderflower Iced Tea

Ingredients
  • 1 Tbsp dry elderflowers
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • sweetener of choice
  • ice
  • leaves optional: fresh mint or melissa leaves
Instructions
  1. Pour boiling water over dry elderflowers, cover and let stand for about 10 minutes.
  2. Strain the liquid, add 1 cup of cold water, lemon juice and sweetener of your choice.
  3. Pour the liquid into a tall serving glass filled with ice, lemon slices and fresh mint leaves or melissa leaves. Serve immediately.
