Chai Tea Latte

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • a pinch of ground nutmeg
  • a pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp caramel sauce or regular caramel sauce
  • whipped cream or topping
  • salted caramel sauce
  • a dash of ground nutmeg
  1. Boil 1 cup water. Add tea bags and spices and let steep for about 5 minutes. Strain or filter the tea (optional).
  2. Cook milk with brown sugar and caramel sauce until sugar and sauce dissolve.
  3. Combine two liquids. Pour into a cup and serve with whipped cream. Sprinkle with some ground nutmeg and drizzle with salted caramel sauce.
