quinoa thoroughly rinsed to remove a bitter taste

coconut milk or other milk of choice

of water

vanilla extract

honey or sweetener

sliced fresh fruit
(blueberries raspberries, strawberries, apricots, bananas, kiwi...)

Put coconut milk and water in a saucepan over high heat. Add rinsed quinoa and vanilla extract. Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring from time to time, until all liquid is absorbed and quinoa is cooked through.

Put in serving bowl and add some more milk, if desired. Top with sliced fruit.
