Chocolate Cherry Chia Pudding – easy raw dessert, ideal for Valentine’s Day or any other occasion.

  • 2 cups milk
  • 6 1/2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup cherries fresh or frozen; no need to thaw
  • 5 Tbsp honey or rice malt syrup or agave syrup
  • garnish : whipped topping shaved dark chocolate 2 cherries, optional, or whipped cream
  1. In one bowl, blend 1 cup milk, 3 1/2 tablespoons chia seeds, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder and 2 tablespoon rice syrup.
  2. In another bowl, blend 1 cup milk, 3 tablespoons chia seeds, 1/2 cup cherries and 3 tablespoon rice syrup.
  3. Let both of your mixtures stand on your counter for about 1 hour (or over night in the fridge).
  4. Take two serving glasses. Put half of chocolate pudding in each glass. Top with half of cherry pudding.
  5. OPTIONAL: Garnish with some whipped topping (or whipped cream), shaved dark chocolate and a cherry on top.
