Protein Waffles – easy way to increase protein intake which will support your fitness goals and help you lose weight.

  • 2 cups oat flour
  • 1 Tbsp protein powder
  • 1 2/3 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • a dash of cinnamon optional
  1. In a bowl, combine oat flour with protein powder, baking powder, sugar and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix eggs with yogurt and vanilla extract.
  3. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir just until incorporated (do not overmix).
  4. Cook waffles in a greased waffle maker according to manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Serve with agave syrup, maple syrup, date syrup or honey.
