  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup honey or agave nectar*
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sunflower oil or ghee or 1/2 stick butter
  1. Preheat your oven to 300 F (150 C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine honey and oil (or ghee) and heat until melted.
  3. Add oats and brown sugar (for additional crunch) and mix until thoroughly coated.
  4. Put into a non-stick baking pan or regular pan lined with baking paper. Press with a flat bottom cup (this is necessary if you want to get large cereal chunks). Bake for about 20 minutes.
  5. Let cool completely. Break into peaces and pack in an airtight container.
