Cheeseless Pizza - use simple walnut sauce instead of cheese on your homemade pizza.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 batch Crazy Dough* )regular, vegan or gluten-free)
  • toppings of choice: ketchup, mushrooms, corn, olives, jalapenos, sun-dried or roasted tomatoes
  • olive oil for brushing
  • WALNUT "CHEESE" SAUCE:
  • 1/4 c ground walnuts or cashews or almonds
  • 1/4 c non-dairy cream
  • 1 t lemon juice
  • salt pepper
Instructions
  1. Roll out the dough to the size of your pan (mine is 10 inches / 25 cm diameter). Place in your oiled pizza pan.
  2. Brush the dough with some olive oil and top with your favorite toppings.
  3. WALNUT "CHEESE" SAUCE: In a small bowl, combine ground walnts with non-dairy cream and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Pour over pizza.
  4. Bake Cheeseless Pizza in preheated 350 F (175 C) oven for about 20 minutes.
