Strawberry Banana Ice Cream – 3 ingredients healthy ice cream without machine; dairy-free, vegan.
In area where I live, summer came early this year. We have high temperatures already for two weeks and it is really as hot as in the middle of the summer. No wonder I am in the mood for some ice cream.
It is really easy these days to create healthy homemade Strawberry Banana Ice Cream even if you don’t own an ice cream maker / machine. The only thing necessary is to remember to put some banana and strawberry slices in your freezer a few hours or even a day earlier. After that things get very simple – put frozen fruit into your food processor and mix until you get right consistency.
I tried also to use my blender to make the ice cream. Even though the blender is pretty powerful (1250 W), it still struggled with frozen fruit chunks and I had to open it often to stir the mixture. On the other hand, when I used food processor the whole procedure went very smooth and quickly. I guess that food processor knives are sharper.
Anyway, dairy-free vegan Strawberry Banana Ice Cream is a solution when you need something sweet but don’t want to jeopardize your health or weight.

Delighted with the Ice-cream recipie. Vegan ice-cream here (Ireland) is quite expensive and not always available and my Vegan daughter loves ice-cream. Going to make this and keep it in the freezer and surprise her when she comes to visit. Thank you for posting. Deirdre
