If you’re tired of sweet green smoothies, try this savory version instead. I call it Drinkable Salad because it tastes as great as any salad and is great healthy On-the-Go meal.
I never thought I would say that, but I got tired of sweet green smoothies. I mean, I still love them very much, but I just needed a change and taste something savory instead of sweet.
The other evening, I was thinking whether to make a green smoothie or eat a salad. I wanted something cool and refreshing, yet blended altogether. So, apprehensive, I tried to blend my salad. I was so pleasantly surprised with the taste!
I used chive instead of garlic or onion because it’s taste is milder.
I’m happy to have some roasted pumpkin seed oil in my pantry. It is optional in this recipe (because I know you cannot find it everywhere), but gives a great taste. I highly recommend it, if you have it on hand.
I hope you’ll like my Drinkable Salad / Savory Green Smoothie as much as I do!
